Chicken Tikka is one of India’s most popular dishes. The word Tikka means bits, pieces or chunks. Chicken Tikka is an easy-to-cook dish in which chicken chunks are marinated in special spices and then grilled either in microwave or tandoor.

Cooking Recipe Ingredients:
500grams Chicken or you can also choose boneless chicken
2 cups Curd, should not be sour
1 cup: Onions (Grated)
2 tbsps ginger paste
3 tbsps garlic paste
2″piece: Raw papaya
1 tsp: Chilli powder
1tsp: Garam masala
2 tbs: Lemon juice
2-3 drops: Red colour
Milk fat/ghee as required
Salt to taste
1 cup finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
Cooking recipe preparation instructions
1. Clean the chicken. Remove the bones and slice it into small pieces.
2. Grind onions, garlic, ginger, and raw papaya into smooth paste. Mix it well with curd, chilli powder and garam masala. Blend well to make the marinade. Add a few drops of lemon juice, 2 drops of red colour with salt and smear the chicken pieces with the mixture and let them marinate for 8-10 hours.
3. Heat ghee in a pan and add the marinated chicken pieces, fry for 5-6 minutes, then pour the remaining marinade on it. Cover the pan and cook on a low fire until chicken pieces are tender and dry.
4. Serve hot with Pudina chutney (mint) and sliced onion as a snack.
