Shahi Paneer
Shahi which means ‘Royal’ and Paneer means ‘ Cottage Cheese’ gives Shahi Paneer a royal feel to it. Cooking Recipe Ingredients:
200 gms Paneer
2 Medium Onions
2-3 cardamom
1 small Ginger, grated
3-4 Garlic Pieces
2 Green chillies
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
3/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
3-4 tbsp Cream
1/4 cup Dry fruits (Cashew Nuts, Raisins, Makhane) all finely chopped.
1/2 cup Milk
8-10 tbsp Vegetable oil
Salt to taste
Cooking recipe preparation instructions:
1. Chop paneer into small pieces.
2. Heat oil in a deep fry pan and add onion, ginger, green chilli, garlic and cardamom. Fry for about 4-5 minutes then add tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes and cover it. Add curd and cook for 5 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water and cool.
4. Blend in a mixer till smooth.
5. Heat remaining oil; add gravy and other ingredients except milk and paneer. Boil to get very thick gravy.
6. Just before serving, heat gravy, add cream, milk and paneer pieces and boil for 3-4 minutes.
7. Garnish with finely chopped coriander and grated paneer and dry fruits.
