Tandoori Chicken is one of the most famous dishes in Indian Cuisine. It is a chicken dish that originated in Punjab region of India. The chicken is marinated in yogurt, and seasoned with tandoori masala. What makes Tandoori Chicken so special is in the way it is cooked. It is traditionally cooked at high temperatures in an earthen oven called a Tandoor.

Didn’t really have a great feel for Indian Cuisine at first… never knew what I was going to expect. That is, until I tried Tandoori Chicken, as soon as I took a my first bite into it, I knew I was hooked. It is a luxury food, but I do try to eat some at least once a week, even more on special occasions.

I have been looking for a great Tandoori chicken recipe that I would be able to make at home for me and my wife. I try to cook gourmet when I can to impress her. After finding this recipe, I know that I can make it; I am no chef that’s for sure. But at least I can surprise her with this tasty dish. Thanks for the recipe.

Hold the chicken drumstick in your hand, dip it generously in the spicy green chutney and have a bite. The flesh inside is nice and juicy and the chutney gives a nice kick to it. mmmmmmm… hmmm… Slurpppp…. I made this for my best friend at work and this is what my colleagues said ‘This is the best tandoori chicken we have ever had and much better than the restaurant ones’.
