10 Terrific Valentine’s Day Desserts
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Have you decided what you’re doing for your special someone yet? If not, preparing a delicious dessert may be just the thing. Whether you take your Valentine to a nice restaurant or serve him or her a tasty home cooked meal, a home made dessert makes a nice finish – one that shows you care enough to spend some time creating a wonderful treat for your significant other. And since nothing since Valentine’s Day quite like chocolate…well, desserts and chocolate go hand in hand, now don’t they? Here are some ideas:
86-Proof Chocolate Cake is a moist, dark, extravagant cake made with bourbon and coffee. For a nice presentation, bake it in a Bundt cake pan and sprinkle the finished cake with a little powdered sugar. You may also substitute the bourbon with Amaretto, cognac, or Scotch whiskey.
